Produced by Rogers TV London and hosted by Rogers TV News Director and First Local anchor George Clark, Saluting Our Heroes recounts the compelling stories of eight heroes from the Forest City whose lives and wartime experiences added to Canada’s proud legacy of the Second World War. The veterans share their touching and memorable stories and their thoughts on what Remembrance Day means to them.
10:30AM - A special hour and a half edition of daytime
With co-hosts Bonnie Baker and Darrin Laidman, daytime will feature a special performance by reservist and singer-songwriter Jevon Rudder and a discussion about the role of the Canadian military today by a representative from the London Canadian Forces Recruitment Centre and include live coverage of the Remembrance Day service and wreath-laying ceremony at the Victoria Park Cenotaph.
